Welcome to Dixie Grammar

I am immensely proud to be the Headmaster of a school in which expectations of students from 3-18 are exceptionally high both inside and outside the classroom. Where expectation is high, achievement follows and whilst academic excellence is at the heart of what we offer, I want Dixie students to become well-rounded people as well as achieving their potential in academic studies.
The positive influences students have on each other sets the Dixie apart - their common aspiration and those of their parents to be the very best they can in all areas of life is infectious and undoubtedly contributes to the 'Dixie Difference'.

My thing is absolutely not singing or performing. With everyone else getting involved, I couldn't pass up the chance to do something I never thought I could and it's a moment I'll now always remember.

I didn't realise how much I love being outdoors. My little brother loves playing outside at Nursery and Forest School (which we call DOSE) is still my favourite thing now I'm at the Senior School.

I need to choose my options for GCSE next year, but I don't really want to drop anything. I love HE, DT, Music and Art and my friends can't believe I can understand French and German as well as Mandarin.

Year 6 pupils successfully undertake in-depth project work because the thematic Dixie 6 curriculum acts as an effective bridge between the junior and senior school curriculum.

  • Over the past four years, the Nursery has given both of our children a great foundation for their future school lives. We will forever be grateful to the staff for their warmth, care and dedication in looking after them. For your children to be happy and keen to learn is what all parents hope for and ours could not have been given a better start. Thank you.
